On the Eighth day of Christmas…

People are so keen to keep furniture and fixtures minimalist these days, and in a neutral palette. Simple updates to decor via styling items and accessories can make a world of difference to the space, giving it a sense of time and style. I’m currently obsessing over rugs. What a way to freshen up a room! You can get some horribly cheap ones out there that pill and smell like a factory for too long after leaving the shipping container. But you can also get some extremely beautiful ones made from wool and silk. Most of the gorgeous geometrics below are from Fenton & Fenton, who never fail to do a good graphic rug. These guys are constantly updating their collection online and you can even custom design your own via their website. Designer Rugs’ collections are always incredible. I’m currently loving  the designer collaboration with Easton Pearson. Their striking florals (below) are  made from New Zealand wool, viscose and silk.
